This is my first attempt at Not Me Monday.

I did NOT take my girls shopping yesterday and enjoy every minute of it!

I did NOT lay in bed this morning until it was almost time for me to actually leave and then start getting ready :)

I did NOT let my kids play outside all weekend and enjoy every minute of the spring like weather.

I did NOT watch Bri learn all sorts of new words this weekend and wish I could stop time so she would stop growing up so fast.

What is happening???

I live in a small college town where the crime rate is extremely low. In the past two weeks there have been two murders. What the heck is going on. Both of them thus far seem to be drug related. Drugs are running rampid in this town and it really makes me wanna rethink raising my children here. It is scary how drugs can grab hold and ruin a persons life so quickly. It is hard for me to comprehend how you can even let that happen, but it is happening all around me to people of all educational backgrounds.

Snow, snow and more snow

There has been no school all week, I was snowed in most of the week and couldnt get to work. Most of the county is without electric. This is by far the worst snow storm we have seen in a few years. Everything was shut down on Wednesday and a state of emergency has been declared in parts of the county. It snowed, then iced, then snowed and then more snow. It is a mess!! The weather is calling for yet another snow storm on Monday, I am so done with the snow!

Slacking

I have not blogged for awhile, so here it goes. My kids are as rotten as ever. Bri mimics everything her brother says and does, which most of the time is something he shouldn't. I took them to BK to play this weekend since it is too cold to play outside and wouldnt you know that I hear my precious two year old little man cuss as plain as could be. I was beyond embarassed. Where do they come up with these words and know how to use them??? He never ceases to amaze me I swear! Everyone had a good time and it was nice for them to let off some energy. I have finished the Twilight series and now my evenings seem so dull. I dont even know what to do with myself when my kids wind down and head off to bed. Looks like I will have to find a new book to get into!

Missed a few days!!!

I have been sick....ugh. My kids seem to be handling this cold like its nothing. They are still bouncing off the walls, climbing up the curtains and giving me a run for my money. Me on the other hand, I am sure this thing is going to beat me down. All I want is a warm, dark, quiet place to lay my head and sleep for days. I know that isn't happening, but a girl can dream right?!
