Snow, snow and more snow

There has been no school all week, I was snowed in most of the week and couldnt get to work. Most of the county is without electric. This is by far the worst snow storm we have seen in a few years. Everything was shut down on Wednesday and a state of emergency has been declared in parts of the county. It snowed, then iced, then snowed and then more snow. It is a mess!! The weather is calling for yet another snow storm on Monday, I am so done with the snow!

Slacking

I have not blogged for awhile, so here it goes. My kids are as rotten as ever. Bri mimics everything her brother says and does, which most of the time is something he shouldn't. I took them to BK to play this weekend since it is too cold to play outside and wouldnt you know that I hear my precious two year old little man cuss as plain as could be. I was beyond embarassed. Where do they come up with these words and know how to use them??? He never ceases to amaze me I swear! Everyone had a good time and it was nice for them to let off some energy. I have finished the Twilight series and now my evenings seem so dull. I dont even know what to do with myself when my kids wind down and head off to bed. Looks like I will have to find a new book to get into!

Missed a few days!!!

I have been sick....ugh. My kids seem to be handling this cold like its nothing. They are still bouncing off the walls, climbing up the curtains and giving me a run for my money. Me on the other hand, I am sure this thing is going to beat me down. All I want is a warm, dark, quiet place to lay my head and sleep for days. I know that isn't happening, but a girl can dream right?!

Aloha Friday

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

Where do you dream of traveling?

My head is in the clouds today. It is cold and dry here and I keep dreaming of being somewhere warmer. I have always dreamed of going out West. I would love to just take an RV and head toward California taking my time and stopping at all the sights along the way. I know this trip will have to wait until my kids are older and can handle long rides, but right now while I am sitting in my office freazing to death, the warm, sunny weather of California sure sounds nice.

The Beginning

It is my turn to try out this blogging craze! I am the mother of three beautiful kiddos who keep me very busy. My house is unorganzied chaos and I love it most days. They keep me hopping and teach me how to enjoy the little things in life again. My life growing up was not easy, but for my kids I strive to show them understanding, patience, kindness, stability, security, values, morals and unconditional love. I want them to grow up and know that I love them and am here for them regardless of the circumstances. I want them to feel safe with me and know I will never judge them or turn my back on them. My kids are my whole world and while things have happened in my life that I am not proud of, I have chosen to make the best of the situation and never look back with regrets. I am who I am because of each and everything that has happened to me. I want to be someone my kids can look up to and be proud of me as I am them. Each day I see them grow up a little more and I know I must cherish each and every moment with them. Through this blog I hope to share a little about myself and our day to day life.
